Dr. Wendy Royle is a long term resident of the North Shore. She practiced veterinary medicine in Vancouver, the Yukon, Sechelt BC, and England before purchasing Park Gate Animal & Bird Hospital in August 2004, this is her third pracice. Wendy has 2 dogs, a Labrador Retriever named Rocky, a Miniature Dachsund named Emily. Also a rotating entourage of rescues from potbelly pigs, ferrets, birds to dogs and cats. In her spare time, Dr. Royle enjoys hiking the local mountains with two and four legged friends. |

Lauralee graduated from the Granville Business College in 1998. She has travelled to the Cook Islands where she worked with animals in need and has also worked for the SPCA. Lauralee has worked with Dr. Wendy Royle for over 10 years and is currently ParkGate's office manager. When not at work, she is at home with her husband, two boys as well as two cats, an african grey parrot, and her newest rescue a chihuahua pug cross. |
Jessica has been interested in working with animals ever since she was a little girl. She took the VOA program at Granville Business College, graduated in 2008 and has been working at Parkgate ever since. She calls Kitsilano home and currently has 2 cats named Dexter and Rizla and a Leopard Gecko named Bomber, and is constantly looking for new additions to expand her family. In her free time you can find Jessica riding her bike down the North Shore Moutains, horseback riding in Langley, or booking time off for a vacation somewhere hot. |
Danielle graduated from the VOA program at
Granville Business College in 2009, and has been working at Parkgate Animal and Bird Hospital
ever since. She has volunteered at the Vancouver SPCA for 5 years and
also was a junior councilor for the Surrey SPCA day camp for kids. She has a Bengal X named Ace, a
Shepherd mix named Bailey, and a Dachshund x Chihuahua named Kumi. On
her time off you can find her walking the dogs, visiting family, or
going on day road trips. |
Kelly graduated form Granville Business College in 2002. She worked at a clinic in Coquitlam where she met Dr. Royle and jumped at the opportunity to work with her again here at Parkgate Animal and Bird Hospital. She has a crazy Boxer dog named Murdoch, a Border collie named Nitro, and two horses named Cedar and Willow. In her spare time you can usually find her in the barn, out on the trails with either her horses or dogs or working in the yard with her husband. |
